About 3.45 million in late 2025, according to Meta's ad-reach data. That's about 85% of adults and more than any other platform in Lebanon except TikTok. It's an ad-reach estimate, not a count of unique people.

Can you monetize a Facebook page in Lebanon?

Is Facebook available in Lebanon?

Yes. Facebook works normally in Lebanon on the web, iPhone and Android.

What is Facebook?

Facebook is Meta's social network. People use personal profiles to connect with friends and family, join Groups, and follow Pages run by businesses, media outlets, public figures and creators. Pages and profiles in professional mode can post Reels, videos, photos and LIVE streams and access Meta's monetization tools where they're available.

Facebook usage in Lebanon

According to DataReportal's Digital 2026 report, Meta's ad tools showed about 3.45 million Facebook users in Lebanon in late 2025: roughly 59% of the population and 85% of adults, up about 250,000 (+7.8%) on the year. The adult audience is about 57% male and 42% female. Facebook Messenger reached about 1.65 million people over the same period. These are advertising-reach figures and can overcount real people.

How Lebanon uses Facebook

Facebook in Lebanon skews older than TikTok or Instagram. It's where local news pages, municipalities, community Groups, buy-and-sell groups and neighbourhood businesses reach people. For brands targeting families, adults over 30 or specific towns, Facebook and its Groups often reach audiences that Instagram and TikTok miss.

Facebook Content Monetization and Lebanon

Meta has merged its creator payouts, including in-stream ads, ads on Reels, the performance bonus and Stars, into one Content Monetization program assessed at the page level. Requirements change often, but the main bar has been around 10,000 followers, 5 or more videos in the past 30 days, and an account in good standing, with payouts only to people aged 18 and over. Availability is rolled out country by country. Lebanon doesn't appear on the eligible-country lists we could find, while nearby Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE do.
